For years, students have been requesting a training course designed specifically for one-on-one interviewing. This month we debuted a new course, RIVA 207: Fundamentals of In-Depth Interviewing! It had all the elements students have always loved in our other RIVA trainings: practice sessions both with classmates and recruited respondents, one-on-one feedback, small class size, and comprehensive instruction all specifically modified to train the art and science of one-on-one interviewing.
What did some of our students have to say? Read for yourself:
“A+! It was fabulous. I’ve never received formal moderator training before so I was just relying on my gut and sort of mimicking others. Now I really know what works, what doesn’t, and what I need to work on. And it was so much more fun than I thought it would be. The best and most useful training I have ever attended. I can’t wait to come back and take more courses!”
“I learned exactly what I was looking to learn based on the course description.”
“This was an amazing class and I got so much more out of it than I expected. I loved how I learned without even realizing it until the end of the day.”
Interested in attending this course? We are offering it again from July 21-23, 2014! Read the course description here or email the Training Coordinator, Emily, for more information at firstname.lastname@example.org .
